On my trip to Minnesota this past weekend I told my friend I wanted to visit some Vintage & Thrift shops. We first hit up this vintage store called My Sisters Closet.
Overall the store was kind of pricey for what I normally pay for vintage, so I didn't buy anything. I am having a little regret though for not getting this oversized envelope clutch. It was $20. Would you have bought it?
Our next stop was Unique Thrift Store. I was only interested in blazers, skirts and dresses for this go round. A classic khaki blazer is a fashion staple, so I purchased this one.
My friend purchased this tote bag, loved it!
I loved the detail of this vintage leather clutch, but I already have one this color so I didn't buy it.
I was really diggin' the print on this trench jacket.
The floral embroidery sold me on this jacket, so it was all mine.
After leaving this store, I realized I only carried on a small bag for this trip and was not going to have anymore room for new items. That was the only thing that prevented me from continuing my vintage/thrift adventure, but I'm pleased with the two purchases I did make.

I hate when I go to thrift stores & they're overpriced! However, that clutch was HUGE, so I def would have bought it. I love the jacket you ended up buying & you're friend's tote is too cute.

That clucth would have been a definite YES for me, but I am no good judge...lol I can't resist most cute things at the thrift store because I know if you snooze, you lose. Though, in your defense, $20 is waaay too high for a clutch! GRRR.. I hate that. Love the khaki blazer!
ReplyDeleteI would have definitely purchased that 1st clutch. I LOVE big bags/ clutches. I am also diggin that jacket and the embroidery on it! Cute!
